Mr. Karolewski has provided guidance and services for both the plaintiff and defendant. Serving as an expert in the orthotics and prosthetics profession for many years, Mr. Karolewski has provided lifetime prosthetic expense projections. My opinions are further enhanced from clinical care experience working at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, Veterans Administration, and private practice. Mr. Karolewski stays current serving on national committees, serving as invited speaker, attending regional and national meetings on a regular basis. He also stays current on the political landscape attending the policy forum in Washington DC when called upon.
Record Review
Mr. Karolewski is available to review prosthetic records to provide guidance for the plaintiff or defendant of a litigation. Performing a comprehensive review all the records provide thorough insight to determining positive or negative outcomes from the prosthetic care received.
Patient Needs Assessment
An ideal situation is to evaluate the individual in person, however due to logistics, cost, and recent virus concerns, a virtual interview with the individual can be sufficient. Various metrics are available to quantify the prosthetic needs of an individual. Many times, the notes of other allied health professionals will enhance the opinion of prosthetic needs by analyzing the complete allied health team notes for a more complete picture.
Fraud and Abuse
Although reimbursement billing and coding has become stricter in recent times, Mr. Karolewski can review notes and billing statements if a company is suspected of inappropriate billing to the insurance company. Opinions will be based on standard accepted billing practices and allowable pricing from various carriers.
Employee Burnout and Bullying Evaluation for Companies
Is your company experiencing high rates of turnover? Do employees call in sick often? Mr. Karolewski can evaluate the work environment to provide suggestions that lead to more productive employees.
